  • Mostly, we talk. I'll ask questions, you'll share what feels comfortable, and we'll start to get a sense of each other. We'll also talk about what you're hoping to get out of therapy so we can set some goals together. It's a conversation, not an intake form.

  • Nope. Some people come in with a very clear issue. Others just know something feels off. Both are completely valid starting points.

  • Honestly, the best way to know is to have a conversation. The therapeutic relationship matters more than almost anything else — if it feels right, it usually is. If it doesn't, I'll help you find someone who's a better fit. No hard feelings.

  • That happens more than you'd think — and it matters. Tell me about it. A bad fit or a bad experience doesn't mean therapy can't work for you. It might just mean you haven't found the right person yet.
